Mr Ngcobo also owned and operated a number of successful service stations in and around Durban and is currently the Franchisee and Fuel Retail Licence Holder of two Service Stations.
Mr. Aldaya is a graduate of the University of Puget Sound and joined the company in 1993 as a financial analyst, focusing on the evaluation and financing of various international development projects, including MIT. Previously, he worked for Deloitte & Touche, focusing primarily on high visibility clients, including Microsoft.
In 1996 Mr. Aldaya was promoted to controller and later in 2004 to vice president – finance and accounting, and was responsible for the company’s domestic and international financial reporting, financing international project developments, cash management, certain business development, along with the billing, credit, payroll and administrative IT departments. He has also served on the Finance Committee for PierPass, an industry collaboration to improve air quality and traffic in the Los Angeles/Long Beach area. He currently serves on the board of directors for the company’s two Chilean joint ventures in San Antonio and San Vicente.
In July 2014, he was promoted to CFO and assumed overall responsibilities for the day to day functions related to the financial reporting for Carrix’s global operations, taxes, administrative IS support, accounting, audits, benefits and related items.
Mr. Stubkjaer joined Carrix in July 2012, having more than 35 years of prior experience in the Transportation, Terminal Operations and Logistics industry.
He commenced his career with the A.P. Moller-Maersk Group as a trainee in 1977 and obtained his shipping degree from the company’s International Shipping Academy. Subsequently, he held various positions within the Maersk organization, including international postings in Asia and Europe, among others heading the Maersk organization in Japan (based in Tokyo) and Maersk activities in Asia, Middle East and Oceania, (based in Singapore).
In 1999, he became Head of the Maersk Container Business worldwide (based in Copenhagen) and the same year became partner in A.P. Moller and an inaugural member of the Group Executive Board.
Mr. Knudsen joined Carrix in 2007 as vice president, Project Management and Development.
Prior to joining Carrix, he was deputy managing director, Seaport for the Port of Seattle.
He holds a Bachelor of Science, Oceanography, and a Masters, Marine Transportation, both from the University of Washington.
He has spent his entire career in the marine industry, including several years in commercial fishing operations in successive positions from deckhand to management.
He was with the Port of Seattle for twenty years where he was head of operations, leasing, maintenance and customer marketing.
At Carrix he has worked on various international and domestic projects to develop new terminal capacity. In late 2012, he moved into the position of president, SSA Conventional.
The conventional division includes terminal operations in multiple locations worldwide.
Mr. Hofman joined Carrix in 1998 after graduating from Western Washington University with a B.A. in Business Administration.
He began his career with Carrix as a job cost accountant, was promoted to Assistant Controller in 2001 and became Controller in 2004. In 2008 he was promoted to VP - Finance where his responsibilities include providing financial oversight for SSA Conventional, RMS, and Tideworks.
Mr. Hofman also leads the Company’s financial reporting group including coordinating domestic and international financial reporting, as well as the overall annual independent audits for Carrix and its domestic business units.
Ms. Neal joined Carrix in 2007 as associate general counsel.
She is a graduate of Western Washington University and Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington.
She was previously a corporate and finance attorney with the Seattle firms of Dorsey & Whitney, LLP and Stoel Rives, LLP.
In January 2011 she was promoted to vice president - finance and legal, and in July 2014 she was promoted to senior vice president and treasurer of the company.
Ms. Neal currently oversees all of Carrix’s banking, financing, legal, government relations, as well as insurance and risk management functions and is involved with project developments and other transactional projects.
Ntokozo Luthuli holds a B.Paed degree (UKZN)and Industrial & Organisational Psychology (UNISA).
She has 20 years working experience in public, parastatal and private sector where she held various HR and Transformation management positions.
Her experience cuts across IT, Media and Mining industries. She has vast experience in managing and ensuring good stakeholder relations between government and private sector.
She's a go getter and always looking for opportunities to improve self and lives of ordinary people.
Linda qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002, she is the Managing Director of AQRate-KZN a Durban based B-BBEE verification agency.
Linda, obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Zululand, and her post-graduate degree at UKZN (previously University of Natal) with majors in Accounting, Taxation, Management Accounting and Auditing.
She then completed her training contract with PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Linda has over 20 years work experience, having worked in various positions from junior to executive management. She started off her career in a junior position at Standard Bank, and progressed through various private sector companies including Tongaat Hullet, KPMG, Business partners, she also has some Public sector experience, working as CFO of the KZN Department of Economic Development and Tourism, before venturing into her own business in some 12 years ago.
Linda’s core skill is in the area of accounting, finance and auditing, however through her career path, she has acquired and developed multi-disciplinary skills. Some of her soft-skills include analytical and decision making skills; communication skills; organizational and interpersonal skills; and leadership skills.
